Watermelon is a southern, juicy, sweet, everyone’s favorite berry, native to Central Africa, namely the Kalahari desert! There still can be found wild watermelons. Though unlike usual they are the size of an orange and almost sweet. These days, the watermelons are grown worldwide, bred thousands of varieties. In Russia undoubtedly the most loved – Astrakhan watermelons. Watermelon is very useful berry – it is rich in antioxidants, and possesses powerful diuretic properties, helps to lose weight easy and delicious.
